Well, I guess the Banner street boxes don’t quite make it to your neighborhood. ;->

Welcome back anyway. We thought you had moved to North Dakota after your compaign death march.

The Banner is fairly conservative by my standards, but they have come around on Deval and been good supporters for a couple of months.

Heh. No, we get the Banner online in these parts. :-P

Yes, my DSC steamrolling. I’ve been so busy, I haven’t had time to put pen to paper (or something…*g*)

It’s been crazy busy here in Beyond 495 land. I hope to get back on track after the elections.

Sorry, I’ve been a great admirer of Deval’s eloquence and commitment to civil rights, but I beg to differ: I’m afraid a vote for Deval on Sept. 19 is a vote for Kerry Healey in Nov. I’ve heard too many criticisms from mainstream Democrats on the South Shore and North Shore about Deval’s “fancy but empty rhetoric” and national-style campaign (e.g., running pictures of Obama, whom I love and pray will someday be president, but what does he have to do with MA?). I agree with Bob Oakes’ comment last night at the debate that if Deval wins the primary, the money-saturated Republican machine will decimate him with the tax-and-spend liberal tag, which, like it or not, still gets traction even in our island of liberal civilization in Massachusetts. I really think at this point Chris G. is the only candidate who can beat the Republicans at their own game. Otherwise, we’re in for another four dreary years of Republican rule.

Truebluettoo - Thanks for stopping by. Congratulations on fitting in all the approved Gabrieli talking points.

The vote for Deval is a vote for Healey meme is bullshit. A vote for Deval Patrick is a vote for change and that just scares the shit out of the insider democratic establishment. The same folks who helped Chris get his 15% at the convention.
