Beyond 495

I’ve been keeping a very wary eye on the weather this week. Although you would not believe it to look at me, I tend to be a very delicate flower in the heat — particularly heat + humidity which seems to be the standard here in my adopted homeland of New England. This sunny So. Calif. gal is used to more moderate temps, and a whole lot less humidity.

And of course since we’re looking at temps in the upper 90’s tomorrow, of course you KNOW I’ll be outside canvassing for Deval Patrick. Music always gets me pumped up and the clip I’ve chosen today is a particular favorite. When Jill Scott sings about freedom, I DEFY anyone to resist the urge to canvass. Heat or no heat.
