Bad news for the Herald–Kim Atkins, the paper’s fine State House correspondent, is leaving the paper as of December 15 to move to Washington, DC. She’ll be replaced by Casey Ross, the paper’s transportation reporter. (Via State House News Service.)

I’m sorry to hear that Kim is leaving. She’s a great writer which is something in very short supply over at the Boston Herald.
