Lazy Sunday
Who am I kidding? No lazy Sunday for me. Yesterday, I went to Townsend’s Earth Day celebration, and we collected signatures for Deval and Carol Bousquet. When I say we, I mean I had help. It was a great crowd. Folks were happy to meet and talk with Carol and seem very pleased that Hargraves won’t be getting a free ride this year. I’m very grateful to Michelle C. and Jennifer M. for helping me out. It was a glorious New England day and I’m sure they could find something else better to do. You ladies rock!
I missed Stephen Colbert of the Colbert Report at the Annual WH Correspondance Dinner (hat tip, to Crooks and Liars). I guess he made quite the impression. If you have a quick internet connection and the time, it’s worth it to check out the film clip. If you can’t watch the video, check out the transcript. It’s hilarious. Too bad only the fake news people have the guts to stand up to the Worst. President Ever.
