Polls, schmoles

As I’ve mentioned before, I try not to get too excited by poll numbers. Up or down, the only real poll that matters is first, primary day and then the general election. But, just because I don’t get excited, doesn’t mean I don’t read ‘em.

There’s the spin and then there’s sco doing that thing that sco does so very well. I hail folks that can actually do the math.

Patrick 36% (36%)
Reilly 31% (33%)
Gabrielli 23% (19%)
Undecided 9% (11%)

That’s sco’s fancy chart.

From sco we see that in spite of Gabrieli’s huge media buys, he is not that much further ahead than he was since April. Reilly is treading water and Patrick is holding fast. Again, it’s still early. Most folks won’t be paying as much attention to this race as we inside baseball types until the dog days of summer.

Folks working for campaigns have a lot of work to do. Between now and September 19 it’s asses and elbows!

If you live in the Beyond 495 area and would like to volunteer for Deval Patrick, shoot me an e-mail at susan - at-beyond495-dot-com (you know what to put and where)
